CAL Bank Beach Soccer League Launched...

The first ever beach soccer league has been launched in Accra with 10 teams participating in the maiden event. The league dubbed ‘The CAL Bank Premier Beach Soccer League’ coincided with the GH¢40,000 presentation by the sponsors, CAL Bank at a ceremony at the Accra Sports Stadium.

 

SIC Supports National Unity Games...

State Insurance Company Limited(SIC) in its efforts to strengthen its partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Sports Authority has presented a cheque of GH¢25,000 towards the smooth organization of the up-coming National Unity Games.


The revived National Sports Festival  renamed  ‘ National Unity Games’   will  kick off from 17TH July-27th July at the University of Ghana, Legon and assembly over  5,000 men and women from all regions, tertiary institutions and the security services to vie for honours   in the festival.

 

Ashanti Region Battle Ready for National Unity Games...

Ashanti region has drawn up a detailed talent-hunting programme that will make them the team to beat in the upcoming National Unity Games scheduled to take place in Accra from 17th -27th July, 2011.

 

Minister Launches Sports Festival...

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon Clement Kofi Humado  has noted that the collapse of the National Sports Festival in the past seven years  is partly to blame for Ghana’s disappointing results in international competitions such as the All African Games ,Commonwealth Games etc.

 

National Sports Festival Launch on May 6...

The Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Clement Humado will launch this year’s National Sports Festival tomorrow, May 6th at the media Centre of the Accra Sports Stadium at 10:00am prompt.
